I grew up in one of the poorest towns in the UK, constantly bullied for who I was, I never felt like I was enough. This continued till I was 18, leaving me seriously lonely and with 3 major issues:

  3. I Had Never Even Kissed a Girl, So Obviously… No Girlfriend

Spending my time on FIFA 14 building up my Ultimate Team, on CoD crushing it on Domination and finally watching FRIENDS on loop.

I had perfected the art of screen time sedation. All in the desperate hope to escape what was crystal clear…

Until one particularly bad night, the girl I really liked had gotten a boyfriend (a familiar and painful event happened through out my teenage years). I sat there in my room looking at the potential futures I had in store for me…and they all looked dire. And the decision I made that night changed everything…

I was not going to waste another day like this. I set to work on a plan. A plan to get the life I truly wanted. Along the way I started to recognise patterns and develop a formula

1st - I transformed My

Physique       

A physical transformation was my first pitstop, vitally it allowed me to learn and experience the improvement process in the most visual medium.

Because the framework is the same for each element aspect but after physique you won’t get the visual cues to know you are always on track.

2nd - I Transformed My

Social Network

After spending years feeling isolated I had a lot fuel and desire to build to an amazing network.

I developed skills to allow me to walk into a brand new city with no connections and within one month have friends I’ll know for life.

For a start everyone believes when you have no friends you’re going have to meet a 100 new people in hopes of finding maybe 5 new friends.

This is wrong all you need to do is meet ONE well-Connected Person and they will open up an entire social world to you.


I call these Gatekeeper Friends, and by leveraging this it allowed me to befriend more amazing people than 16 year old me could have dreamed of.

3rd - I TRansformeD MY

LIFESTYLE     

I became obsessed with how to build and break habits. Continually improving testing out which ones gave me the best return and which habits allowed me to become 1% closer to my goal.

The habit building skills I developed have allowed me to make exercise, meditation, reading, studying & more a daily fundamental.

We LIE to ourselves all the time…

So the first step is bringing the act itself to the FRONT of our awareness.

This is where the Tracker becomes vital because it precisely identifies the problem. Measuring it and quantifying it.

There’s a big difference between I’m not good enough, I’m afraid, I’m always watching porn. It’s ruining my life. No girl will ever like me, there’s something deeply wrong with me. I’m going to die alone…

VS

I watch porn 3 times a day, 7 days a week. It’s always before bed and often when I’m feeling bored or lonely.

The first issue is so ill-defined it will never be resolved, it needs to be made clear.

If we can DEFINE a habit, we can DEFEAT the habit.

Step 2 - Feel It

It is one thing to see and acknowledge a habit, but you need to FEEL it’s impact on you.

Otherwise you can fool yourself and try and rationalise away why you…

Binge drink every weekend - (I need alcohol to socialise & enjoy myself)

You stay up till 3am every night (I’m just a night owl)

Constantly watching Netflix - (Work is stressful and I need this to relax)

Obsessive Phone Usage (I have to stay connected)

All of this is just cope.

We INSPECT the deeper cause - “I constantly eat takeaway because I never have food in the house, I go on Social media because I am lonely” etc.

Then find a replacement habit to begin implementing and tracking which resolves the root cause.
